New Headway Elementary A1- fourth edition – is a revised and updated system that includes more interactive educational materials. It provides more exercises and also a test after each lesson so students can check their understanding. The new version of Headway I Tools and the self- study DVD-ROM help students learn new vocabulary and grammar easier.

The grammar exercises cover the five most often used verb tenses: Present Simple, Past Simple, Present Continuous, Future forms (“going to”), Present Perfect, Adjective Comparison and prepositions.

The Vocabulary for this level includes a set of 1500 words, but the exercises in student’s book, the DVD-ROM, the speaking exercises and the teacher’s speech will provide a lot of additional phrases.
